Shopping, Heat gun 9.99

Cherry and I went shopping on friday. I want to let you all know that if you do not have a heatgun yet  Harbor Freight on Union road has them on clearance. The tag said 16.99, but they rang up 9.99. For you who need to find Great Lakes Plastic for plexi, it is on Broadway byHARLEM RD. Be aware if you are coming down Harlem it is not a normal turn. You veer to the right and then turn left on broadway, it will be right there on the left.Metal Supermarkets was also fun to visit (on Elmwood by Wendys past Home Depot) They carry copper and brass. If you dont want to pay shipping check out what they have (mostly rods and sheet.040,.050)

duckopsy

I constructed these halloween ribcage earings(that glow) out of the rubber ducky I chose for the second half of our recycle project.

Recycle Project

I really enjoyed the recycle project we recently completed. For the first part I made a barette out of the map, lace, the post it and bristles. For the second part I won the rubber duckie. I proceeded to do a duckopsy. I left off the head, I did not want the beak to say hey I was a duck. I cut him in half and made a spiral shape out of each side. I wanded to express the essence of a ribcage for halloween earings. I used toothpicks to separae the sections of spiral and give a jagged feel. Last but not least i painted the toothpicks glow in the dark. Voila, cheesy halloween earings that  I plan on wearing this year.
